Mesozoic Research Center (MRC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing our understanding of the Mesozoic Era (~250–66 million years ago), the “Age of Dinosaurs.”
Our mission is to make significant discoveries about dinosaurs and their world while training the next generation of scientists. In collaboration with universities and museums, MRC conducts field-based research focused on poorly explored dinosaur-bearing rock units, integrating study of new fossils with paleoenvironmental analysis.
Each year, students and early-career researchers from around the world gain hands-on experience in fieldwork, fossil preparation, and scientific research through MRC projects. Because MRC operates with exceptionally low administrative and institutional overhead, donated funds go directly toward advancing our mission to study and document scientifically significant fossil resources. MRC is dedicated exclusively to paleontological research and education; neither the organization nor its directors engage in the commercial sale of fossils.
